Date:

On Monday morning, a family safely exited their home near the Third Ward, which had erupted in a massive fire.

The residence, reportedly Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s childhood home, is situated on Rosedale Street in the 2410 block.

Houston Fire Department officials responded to the fire at approximately 2:07 a.m. Firefighters aggressively battled the flames in the two-story house, resorting to cutting into the roof to clear the attic.

Fortunately, the couple residing in the home had already self-evacuated with their two small children before the arrival of the Houston Fire Department.
