Donald Trump is officially the first former president to be criminally charged and placed under arrest. Trump faces 34 counts of felony and 136 years in prison on business tax fraud, hush money payments, falsifying records charges etc.
Week before last he was posting and discussing himself in the third person saying he expects to be arrested. The “leading Republican candidate and former president of the United States will be arrested on Tuesday of next week.” No one really believed it would actually happen until yesterday when he turned himself in to Manhattan Police. He was formally arrested, charged, and in court the same day.
The Manhattan District Attorney has been investigating and preparing an indictment.
He has been left fighting for his freedom and pleading “not guilty” to the charges.
