Drake has possibly reignited his beef with rival rapper Kanye West by pouring fuel on the flames. The two have had a longstanding animosity toward each other since 2011 startng wth an interview Drake did with The Source.
Fans think Drake trolled Ye with an audio of Kim Kardashian talking about her divorce from Ye after he shared a snipped of his new song, “Rescue Me”. Drizzy premiered the new song on SiriusXM’s Sound 42 over the weekend. In the middle of the track, Kim’s voice is heard detailing the moment she told her mother Kris Jenner she planned to divorce Kanye.
The words were from the series finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians as Kim said: “I didn’t come this far just to come this far and not be happy. Remember that.”
Throughout the tune, Drake lyrically details how he will whisk away a damsel in distress and treat her to a life of luxury.
It seemed as though the duo had reconciled in 2021 after they performed together at a special ‘Free Larry Hoover’ concert. However, Drake’s new tune brings up the question of authenticity and really what his decision is truly about.
