The turning point arrived when he was 10-years-old. Marvo approached his mother with an audacious request—to relocate to the bustling entertainment hub of Los Angeles. Impressed by her son’s unwavering determination and boundless potential, Marvo’s mother wholeheartedly agreed to the monumental move. While he embarked on his new Hollywood journey, Marvo maintained a heartwarming tradition of returning to D.C. each summer to glean wisdom and guidance from his grandfather, who played a pivotal role in his artistic development.
At the remarkably young age of 12, Marvo made his first professional step into the industry, when he signed with his grandfather’s independent record label. Under the stage name “Lil Marvin,” he released music that garnered thousands of views, a remarkable achievement for such a budding talent. However, with success came the harsh reality of bullying at school, a challenge that Marvo confronted with resilience. Throughout his life, Marvo had to face bullies and naysayers, often being unfairly judged for having a different mindset from his peers. Undaunted by these trials, he adopted the moniker “Marvo the Martian,” a testament to his unique and extraordinary talent.
Marvo’s artistic vision extends beyond the confines of a single art form or musical genre. He effortlessly delves into various musical styles, ranging from gospel, country, alternative, rap, and R&B. Currently, he is a college Freshman majoring in music, actively collaborating with diverse producers. His aspirations are ambitious, with a determination to complete his degree at UCLA while concurrently pursuing a thriving acting career alongside his musical endeavors.

Marvo’s musical influences include the likes of Chris Brown, Usher and Michael Jackson, renowned for their music videos that resemble cinematic masterpieces. Marvo envisions his music videos following the same grandiose storytelling tradition, seamlessly intertwining his music and acting talents.
